Wildlife Center Selected by 100 Women Who Care of Clatsop County

At their September 10th gathering, 100 Women Who Care of Clatsop County selected the Wildlife Center of the North Coast to receive their collective giving award. We’re grateful for their support and proud to share the evening with Cannon Beach History Center & Museum and Warrenton Parks Alliance.

On September 10th, we had the honor of presenting at the quarterly gathering of 100 Women Who Care of Clatsop County, held at the Astoria Golf & Country Club. This generous group of women comes together to make a big impact through collective giving—each member contributes $100, and together they select one local nonprofit to receive the pooled funds.

We were proud to share the evening with two other incredible organizations doing important work in our community: the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum and the Warrenton Parks Alliance. Each of us had the opportunity to tell our story and highlight the ways we are serving the north coast.

Thanks to the members’ votes, the Wildlife Center of the North Coast was chosen as the recipient of this quarter’s gift. We are deeply grateful for this support, which will help us expand our education program and continue inspiring compassion and conservation through connections with wildlife.

A heartfelt thank you to 100 Women Who Care of Clatsop County for believing in our mission, to our fellow presenters for sharing their inspiring work, and to everyone in our community who champions the value of giving together.
