Calling all young artists! The Wildlife Center of the North Coast is excited to host a Youth Art Contest as part of our Birds of a Feather Spring Festival on May 16, 2026.
We invite youth ages 18 and under to submit original artwork featuring native birds in their natural landscape. This is a great opportunity to celebrate creativity while connecting with the wildlife we care for every day.
Contest Details:
- Deadline: May 8, 2026
- Age Groups: Grades 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12
- Mediums Accepted: Drawing, painting, and other hand-created artwork (no photography or digital art)
- Size Limit: Maximum 9” x 14” (unmatted)
- Limit: One entry per participant
All artwork will be displayed at the Wildlife Center during the festival, and winners will be selected by independent judges. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each age group, and a “Best of Show” winner will be chosen by festival attendees.
