Join us for this brand new event, the Birds of a Feather Fall Festival!

A Barred Owl recovers at WCNC.

We’ll be open for tours, and have fun activities for the kids including pumpkin decorating!  Cormie will stop by to say, “hello!”  All are invited to the free event. Costumes are encouraged. Fall is a great time to learn about some of our favorite wildlife animals like owls, bats, and squirrels. Visit Odin the Western Screech Owl, who lives at WCNC as an Ambassador for her species. Birds of a Feather fall festival donations support our 2022 Birds of a Feather Annual Campaign. Donations to our Annual Campaign support our mission of promoting compassion, empathy, and respect for all life through wildlife rehabilitation, ecological teachings, and wildlife conservation. Annual Campaign Great Horned Owl

Injured Great Horned Owl

Your donation to our 2022 Birds of a Feather Annual Campaign helps animals like this Great Horned Owl that was found with multiple broken bones, unable to fly, tired, and hungry. Because of your support, it was provided with the highest level of medical care, and allowed safe harbor until it was strong enough to return home to the wild.
